Baby Shower!!

Again this weekend Monkey and I were spoiled rotten! (Dr P gave us special permission to get out of the house provided my contractions were at least 15 minutes apart and I sat the entire time.)  Aunt Denese, Aunt Terry and Kendall did such a great job with everything...the food, the decor, the games...everything was just perfect!  I cannot say it enough but I LOVE that my son is so loved by so many people.  Better than any boppy or bumbo or bottle, love is by far the greatest gift I got yesterday, and I'm so thankful for all the special people in our lives that made the day so perfect.

I want to start with my favorite gift of the day.  My mom found this when she was in Georgia a few weeks ago and it's simply perfect.  It says "We loved you before we knew you, even when there was just the hope of you- we loved you."  Tears.

This shower was mainly family, and I didn't realize how long it had been since I had seen so many of them.  Some, since Brooks' shower 2 years ago!

Whew! So much fun! Again, a HUGE thanks to Aunt Denese, Aunt Terry and Kendall for such a wonderful day spent celebrating with wonderful people.  Thanks to my parents for picking me up and bringing me (and all the gifts) home and unloading.  Thanks to Steph (again) for helping me unwrap everything and to Grace for taking pictures.  And to Carter for relaxing and not giving Mama contractions all day so you could be spoiled rotten!
