Terrence "T-Fred" Frederick, former Katy Tiger (and Aggie!) was drafted in the 7th round by the Pittsburg Steelers! HUGE congrats to T-Fred on such an accomplishment! We are so stinkin' proud of you, bud! Steeler Nation, baby!
This could not have happened to a better person, and we sat at the TV with baited breath all weekend waiting and praying for his name to be called. T-Fred was never the biggest, brightest or fastest player, but he was a hard worker. He worked hard in high school not only leading Katy to state, but he also earned an athletic scholarship to A&M. At that time we did not have a lot of players going onto play football in college, so we were ecstatic when he and Trent both took the field in College Station in their beautiful maroon and white. He worked hard while at A&M, starting almost every game his sophomore through senior years. And I KNOW he will work hard and earn a starting spot in Pittsburg for the Steelers!
Congrats, T-Fred! Coach and I are so proud of you! (Now snag us some tickets to a Steelers game)
