Hello I’m a Mac…

mac_pc1

Matt and I have made the move and we are now proud owners of a MacBook Pro!  I’m still frantically learning the new system (it’s actually pretty easy) but still posting from the PC for now.  I’ve been using Windows Live Writer to write my blog posts and I am still in the process of finding a new/better way to blog from the Mac.

I do have to say that the Mac can do so many cool things and so far I am very impressed!  Matt does a really good job of hogging the computer when he is home so I’m definitely not a pro at anything yet, but we are absolutely converted!  We’re Mac people!

Oh, did I mention I also got one of these…

Yup, we’re totally keeping Apple in business.

More football

Well, since my last post Katy has played (and beat) Morton Ranch for homecoming, Seven Lakes 50-0 and Taylor for Parent’s Night 21-10.  Here are some of my favorites from the past 3 games:

A shower of the baby kind

I can’t express to you how incredibly thrilled I am for my BFF Emily to be expecting a little girl next month!  Emily and Eric are set to welcome baby Ella Caroline into the world November 9th (or sooner!)

Last weekend Ally and I packed up the Jeep and drove to Midlothian to throw our favorite pregnant chic a baby shower.  Ally and I had so much fun together planning for the shower and driving to Midlothian.  We found a new Buc-ees on the way which totally made the trip!  (BTW, Ally is pregnant too!)

Tiger Cheer

I may be a math teacher, but I probably spend more time doing cheer stuff than math stuff.  Sometimes they may drive me crazy but they are all wonderful young ladies with so much life and energy.  I absolutely love seeing them perform and even more than that I love seeing them in their day-to-day lives.  They keep me young and help me to remember how fun it is to just live in the moment!

A few shots from one of our recent games.  BTW, we are currently cheering for 3 7th grade football teams that are all undefeated!
