Katy vs. Marcus in Waco

Next up after Bellvue on the football schedule was Flower Mound Marcus High School.  Flower Mound is north of Dallas so we played this game in Waco both years so that neither team had to travel too far to play.  This is a great match-up for two reasons: 1) Their old OC is now a coach at Katy so there are personal ties there, and 2) driving to Waco means we have to drive through my favorite place…

Yup!  Too bad we didn’t have time to stay.  :(  I have not given up hope that Matt will one day be the head coach at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station and we will one day be back.

Anyway, I rode with my dad to Waco and, like I said, we drove through College Station to get there and picked up the Neil’s while in Bryan.  We arrive in Waco right at the start of the game and it was beautiful outside!  The perfect day for high school football.  Katy won 34-24 in a close one.  Waco ISD has one of the best high school stadium’s around with a huge press box and replay screen!

 

My friend Lisa and I ordered these way cute jerseys from Jerzey Girls. What do you think?  A total necessity for any coaches wife, right?!?!
