The Lake for the 4th

One of our favorite holidays (mainly because Matt never has to work on this one!) is the 4th of July. It's a great mid-summer celebration where friends and family always make the time to get together, eat good food, and party! This year we traveled up to Lake Livingston with a few good friends and our precious baby Cooper to celebrate Americas birthday. We are very fortunate to have family generous (and brave) enough to open their homes to us.

Most of our daytime was spent on the water either riding the jet ski's, tubing, floating around, or trying to stay attached to the giant banana float. It was a great time spent with great friends.

One night we ventured out to the town of Trinity for dinner at Los Panchito's. Let me tell you, it was fantastic! Matt and I both love Mexican food so we were in complete heaven. If you are ever passing through I highly recommend stopping in for a bite. There is also the perfect little snow cone stand next door you should hit up too. :)

After it all, we had one tired pup on the way home.

Thanks Aunt Debbie and Aunt Lisa for a wonderful weekend!
