March Recap

March was another one of those months that was long and short all at once.  I can't believe the month is over and it's already April, yet it felt like a long month since our lives were in such transition.  Most of the month was spent at the NICU with the girls.

We started the month with Carter turning 21 months and Mason turning 3!

Visited the girls

Spent time with Carter Man as much as we could when we were home

Were able to hold the girls more and more as the days passed.  Once they were strong enough we started feeding them their bottles and nursing.

Carter learned how to pump (he's going to hate me for this)

Once their IVs were removed we were finally able to reunite the girls!  It was just for a few minutes but they instantly calmed when placed next to each other and just seemed at home.  I pray they are always the best of friends.

Introduced the girls to some other important people in their lives

Got Carter's hair cut (again)

Celebrated our 6th anniversary at Taste of Texas.  I think this will be our last outing for a looooong time.

Pumped approximately 2,000 ounces of milk

Madeline and Molly turned one month old on the 21st

Carter made a new friend at our neighborhood CVS store.  He saw her, sat down in front of her like this, and just started a conversation.  We were waiting for a prescription for him and I swear their conversation lasted a few minutes before I made him leave.

Said goodbye to the NICU and our wonderful nurses

And brought our girls home!!!!

What a wonderfully, wonderful month!
