Carter attended his first wedding March 23, 2013...his Auntie Sara and Uncle Randy's! It was an absolutely beautiful day and perfect weekend for a perfect couple. We are so happy to have Randy in the family and I love that Carter is young enough that Uncle Randy will have always been in his life.
We kicked things off on Friday with a Bridesmaids Luncheon at Saltgrass Steakhouse. Sara spoiled us with canvas bags, two necklaces, a personalized koozie, and a long-sleeve shirt with our monogram on the pocket. So fun!!
After some mani/pedis we headed over to PawPaw and Nana's for the rehearsal and crawfish boil. Yum! The weather was perfect, the food was delicious and the company couldn't have been better. :)
All of Randy's groomsmen were his friends from high school and college and were so much fun to hang out with. They are so friendly, fun and just an all-around great time.
I should add that Sara and Randy have been friends since childhood. The McDaniel's and the Lemoine's lived next door to each other while in college at Louisiana Tech. Mrs. Sharon and Mr. Dobie were witnesses at Mrs. Diana and Mr. Sammy's wedding. We have precious pictures of all of the kids together when they lived in Louisiana and were younger. It seems like it was God's plan all along for these two to end up together :)
