We’ve had a busy but fun weekend filled with family. Saturday Matt’s family came into town from Louisiana. We all met at the McDaniel’s house and had BBQ with all the fixin’s. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool and we got some time to visit. I’m glad everyone was able to come in town this weekend; I feel like we only get to see Matt’s family at Christmas.
Today was my mom’s birthday AND Easter, so we had everyone over to our house after church for lunch. Brooxie Kate came as the Easter Bunny!
How cute is she?!? She is talking up a storm now and just busy as a little bee. She can “pattycake” and wave bye-bye. She’s practicing “Mama” and hopefully soon “Aunt Amanda and Uncle Matty.” I wish I could understand all of her baby babble. I’m sure she’s telling us how crazy we all are! Lol!
Mom requested ham, brussel sprouts, fruit salad and a carrot cake for her birthday. It was great that we were able to celebrate both Easter and her birthday today.
Her new swimsuit!
Mom and her carrot cake. Happy birthday!

With Auntie Carol. BKC is wearing one of mine and Laura’s old outfits. Vintage!

Happy Easter, 2011!
"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' " – Mark 16:6
