Hello from Boston!

Hello! Mom and I left for our adventure to New England today and we are now sitting in our hotel room in Boston, MA. We flew to Boston with a quick layover in Chicago this afternoon. In Chicago it was 54 degrees and COLD! Thankfully it is a nice 68 degrees here in Boston and perfect.

We arrived to Boston around 8 this evening (Boston time- we are an hour ahead) right when the sun was setting, it was beautiful. We got our luggage and rental car and found our hotel successfully, thanks to the Garmin Stephanie lent us! Thank you Stephie! (We would probably still be at the airport if it weren't for the Garmin!) Our hotel is in downtown Boston right in the middle of a cute little park. All around us we have some really nice restaurants- PF Changs, Maggiano's, McCormick & Schmidt, and Legal Seafood. Everything around here seems to be within walking distance. Since mom and I didn't feel the need to throw down $100 for dinner we ate at Ben & Jerry's! Hey, on vacation they take all of the calories out, right?!?

Tomorrow we are heading to Old North Church in the morning and then will poke around the North End. They are famous for their Italian food so I'm looking forward to lunchtime! Afterwards we will probably head over to Faneuil Hall for some shopping.
