Newborn Pictures

Shortly after the girls came home from the NICU we scheduled newborn photos with Mannion's Memories, the same photographer who did Carter's 1-year pictures.  I called her as soon as the girls were born and we set a date over spring break for the photo session.  Then the girls stayed in the NICU longer so we kept pushing the date back.  And I may have changed the location 3 times.  ;)

We finally were able to take pictures on April 3 when the girls were almost 6 weeks old at PawPaw and Nana's house.  Of course Madeline decided THAT would be the day she would be awake and fussy all day.  And a big thanks for Nana for chasing crazy Carter Man around all day.  Five hours later (seriously!) I think we got some pretty cute pictures of our baby girls!

A few weeks later we had some more portraits taken since Madeline was so fussy on the first try.  This time we aimed for just a headshot of the two girls together and used A&A Newborn Photography.  You won't believe me but we got these shots in 30 minutes! They got the girls right to sleep and posed within minutes....I was floored! And tempted to hire them to come put the girls to sleep everyday :)
