Best Moment This Week: Everything! Being born, coming home from the hospital, and meeting all my family and friends

Yay little buddy- today is your ONE WEEK birthday!  This week has been a complete whirlwind...I don't know where the time has gone.  It seems like only a moment ago you were inside my belly getting the hiccups and playing in my ribs, and now you are here in our arms...and yet at the same time, I feel like having you home is so familiar, as if you have been here for much longer.  You are perfect in every way...the perfect addition to our little family and we love everything about you! You are nursing like a champ and love to suck on your hands and fingers.  You toot constantly...you are your fathers son! We haven't found a pacifier that will fit in your tiny little mouth yet, but Mommy is okay with that.  You are sleeping almost around the clock.  You gave Mommy and Daddy a hard time the first night we were home from the hospital, but I think it's because you weren't swaddled tightly enough.  The last two nights we have double-swaddled you in your muslin blanket + swaddler and you haven't made a peep.  And you gave us such sweet smiles tonight when Daddy sang to you.

You have had so many visitors this week Momma and Daddy have had a hard time keeping up.  Your Nana, Mama K and Daddy J have been here everyday just to check on us.  Cooper has to watch all the visitors really closely so they don't get too attached to you.  We took an outing almost everyday you've been home: pediatrician's office, hospital, Target and Babies R Us.  We keep you covered with your "paparazzi shade" but today we had several comments at BRU about how cute you are.  I love that strangers stop to oogle over you!

We love you so much, sweet baby, and we are so glad you are home with us!
